With much regret, the NSPS Board has canceled the 2024 North Shore Challenge. We have faced a number of issues this year in the lead up to the Challenge, in particular insufficient volunteers and the need to respond to the rapidly evolving environment surrounding Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Our intention is to have a renewed North Shore Challenge in 2025. This pause will allow us to thoughtfully consider the event and explore options, taking into account declining participation in recent years and member interests. It will also provide the time to develop the necessary AI policies and strategies for submissions and judging.
