Congratulations Vernon Photography Club... the winner of this year's North Shore Photographic Challenge Trophy! In a very tight competition, Vernon achieved a total of 194.5 points. This is the second win for Vernon, in the past decade.
Second-place went to Tri-City Photography Club with 193.75 points, and third was captured by Victoria Camera Club--last year's Challenge Trophy winner--with 193 points.
Results were announced on March 7th, 2026, during the North Shore Challenge Gala Event on Zoom.
Vernon Photography Club member, Virginia Sellars, achieved the Best In Show award, and a $150 cash prize, for her image "Family by Choice". It depicts two small dogs looking up at a horse on a wind-swept beach along the Oregon coast.
The next North Shore Challenge Gala Event will be held on March 6th, 2027.
