Workshop: Introduction to Printing

This meeting is held on Zoom. NSPS members and pre-registered guests receive the link and passcode by Noon on the meeting day.

Description: If you are new to printing, not sure how to mat your print, considering submitting an image to print night but are unsure about how to do that, or just want to get the best out of your photographic prints, please join our club Print Co-ordinator, Martin, for this workshop.

Topics include:

          * How to edit for printing (sample process using Lightroom)

          * Understanding colours: on screen vs. on paper

          * How to ensure your print has the colours it should have

          * Types and choices of photographic paper

          * Printing at home vs. sending to a professional printer

          * Matting and/or framing prints

Guests are welcome to attend two complimentary meetings on non-Program Nights. Please complete and submit the Guest Registration form, and we'll get back to you within 48 hours.

A limited number of non-member Guests may attend a Program Night (with a speaker presentation), following payment of the Guest Fee. To attend a Program Night, please complete the Guest Registration form, and e-Transfer $10 (non-member Guest Fee) to treasurer@nsps.ca no later than 3:00 PM (Pacific Time) on the day of Program Night. Please include your name and email address in the e-Transfer message.
