Program Night: Kevin Lanthier

7:30 PM: Meeting starts
Presenter: Kevin Lanthier. Kevin is a Vancouver based fine art photographer, commercial photo retoucher, and instructor at Langara College. His work seeks to tell stories about everyday life, through depictions of the familiar made archetypal. He builds concept-driven composite images, combining and juxtaposing photographed subjects in a photorealistic way to heighten narratives and distill meaning.
Program Title: Human:Nature
Description: Kevin's presentation focuses on his work HUMAN:NATURE, which explores and contrasts the lives of wildlife in human-altered spaces. He will take us through the work, and enlighten us on how he goes about creating these concept-driven composite images.
Admission is free for Members
Guests are welcome to participate in Program Nights at a cost of $10 each, paid in advance.
