Presenter: Charlie Waite
Charlie Waite is one of the leading British landscape photographers, landscape photography tutors and photography lecturers. His photographic style is considered to be unique, in that he has a ‘painterly’ approach to using light and shade which conveys an almost spiritual quality of serenity and calm.
Program Title: Behind the Photograph
Description: Charlie's talk is light-hearted and interspersed with humorous tales within which he reveals the thought processes and the techniques behind his own images, binding them into stories and sharing the anxieties and the joys which accompany their creation.
Admission is free for Members
Guests are welcome to attend two complimentary meetings on non-Program Nights. Please complete and submit the Guest Registration form, and we'll get back to you within 48 hours.
A limited number of non-member Guests may attend a Program Night (with a speaker presentation), following payment of the Guest Fee. If you wish to attend a Program Night, please complete the Guest Registration form, and e-Transfer $10 (non-member Guest Fee) to treasurer@nsps.ca no later than 3:00 PM (Pacific Time) on the day of Program Night. Please include your name and email address in the e-Transfer message, and use the following security answer/password: 'Program2022'.
