Field Trip: Hastings Park

Description:
The Field Trip will begin with short tour of the park. What is there at Hastings Park?
- 1km nature loop around a pond (ducks and other birds)
- 2 skateparks with lots of graffiti
- a small Japanese garden with Japanese Maple trees, pond and stream
- an Italian garden with sculptures
- number of old buildings
- sporting activities at Empire Fields
How to Prepare:
- RSVP to let us know you plan to attend
- Before arriving at Hasting Park, please complete the NSPS Participation Agreement (available to complete and submit online from 9:00 AM on Friday, April 22nd).
What to Bring:
Dress for the weather. Bring your mask. In addition to your camera gear, bring a water bottle and a snack, if you wish.
Rendezvous Location:
Drive in at Gate 2 (off Renfrew St.) and park in front of the PNE Administration Building. We'll meet here.
