Topic: Making Meaningful Photographs

Description: Kas Stone is a photographer, educator, and writer based on Nova Scotia’s Atlantic coast. Her work explores themes of nature, identity, and the relationship between humans and the environment. With a background in geology and a deep connection to the landscapes she photographs, Kas brings a thoughtful and artistic perspective to her craft.

In her presentation, Kas will explore “Making Meaningful Photographs,” a thought-provoking session that delves into the storytelling aspect of photography. She will teach how to create images that go beyond technical excellence to convey emotion and meaning.
