The link and passcode are available to NSPS members and guests who have pre-registered. \n7:00 - 7:30 PM: Members and guests 'meet and greet' online in the meeting room\n7:30 PM: Meeting starts \nPresenter: Jackie Kramer \nProgram Title: Artistic Floral Photography \nDescription: Join Jackie as she takes you on a journey through her digital garden where she will share a variety of techniques that she uses to bring out the character in floral subjects.  She will show examples and discuss how to reflect the personality of a flower through a variety of techniques\, such as selective focus\, shoot-throughs\, abstracts\, multiples\, textures and more.  Hear her rationale as it applies to decisions in the field pertaining to selection of the subject\, background\, approach\, composition\, lighting\, exposure\, and depth of field and leave inspired to pick up your camera and follow your own creative voice. \n\n\nAdmission is free for Members \n\n\n\nGuests are welcome to attend two complimentary meetings on non-Program Nights. DESCRIPTION:There are two parts to this year end wrap up day. \nMembers are asked to Signup/RSVP by Tuesday\, June 18th\, to receive updates and further details. \n---------------------------------------- \nPart 1 \nNSPS members are invited to participate in one of two no-charge\, concurrent workshops/fieldtrips on Saturday morning\, June 22\, 2024. They will be held at locations in the City of Vancouver. \nA) Colour\, Composition and Creativity led by Mary Jensen starting at 8:30 AM (three segments\, one-hour on each 'C'). \nB) Victoria Low and Geoffrey Shuen will lead a Nature Walk starting at 8:30 AM (for owls\, nests\, lupins\, frogs\, etc.). \n---------------------------------------- \nPart 2 \nLater on\, starting at 4:30 PM PT\, members will meet for a potluck dinner in North Vancouver to share stories about the day and visit with fellow members. \n---------------------------------------- \nFurther details on this event are contained within the NSPS Weekly announcements email to members. \n
